About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the People & Culture agenda through effective policy, process and governance practices
  • Advise, guide and coach managers and employees on employment matters, policies, legislation, disciplinary matters and capability processes
  • Align People & Culture activities with short-, medium- and long-term business requirements and corporate HR objectives
  • Implement People & Culture solutions supporting business improvement, employee engagement, operational effectiveness and consistent people management
  • Develop, maintain and implement People & Culture policies, procedures and governance frameworks
  • Support international mobility activities and coordinate international assignment requirements
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, People & Culture teams and Shared Services on HR projects and employee administration
  • Support recruitment and selection through behavioral competency-based interviewing
  • Collaborate with the GRO team to ensure compliance with government requirements
  • Support disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance-related cases
  • Monitor processes and recommend improvements to efficiency, compliance, employee experience and manager self-sufficiency
  • Contribute to corporate and local People & Culture projects, including planning, communication, implementation, change adoption and follow-up
  • Ensure employee lifecycle records, documentation and transactions are accurate, efficient and timely

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Recognised certificate in Business Administration
  • Work experience can compensate for lack of formal education
  • Proven experience in an HR function with exposure to the full employee life cycle
  • Global organizational exposure (preferred)
  • CIPD Level 5 certificate (not essential)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Coaching and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to build trust
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially
  • Ability to influence managers
  • Ability to support employees professionally and objectively across a multicultural environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including assessing symptoms, identifying root causes and recommending solutions
  • Attention to detail in HR documentation, case management and employee records
  • Confidence using HR systems, Microsoft Office tools and reporting data
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet required timelines
  • Ability to interpret policies and apply them consistently
