About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and maintain HSESQ management systems, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and compliance assessments
  • Participate in hazard identification, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Monitor and promote HSESQ compliance across worksites and subcontractor facilities
  • Deliver HSESQ inductions, awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and training sessions
  • Collect, analyze, and report HSESQ performance data
  • Support quality inspections and ensure documentation accuracy and traceability
  • Assist with quality notifications, non-conformance tracking, and corrective actions
  • Promote security awareness, access control, and protection of company assets and data
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders on HSESQ matters

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Quality, Health, Safety & Environment, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Knowledge of ISO management systems and HSE standards
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an HSE, HSESQ, or Quality role within the Oil & Gas industry or a similar industrial environment
  • Experience conducting inspections, audits, and incident investigations
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and operational risk management
  • Experience working with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong knowledge of HSESQ practices, standards, and regulations
  • Ability to conduct incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and in challenging operational environments
  • Proficiency with HSE management and reporting systems
  • Fluent written and spoken in French and English
  • NEBOSH certification or equivalent HSE qualification preferred
  • ISO 9001 certification and/or NDT qualifications would be an advantage
