About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor all sales orders and create delivery notes
- Generate delivery notes in SAP and ensure accurate warehouse handover for picking and packing
- Coordinate with warehouse teams on material readiness, packing status, labeling, and collection handover requirements
- Prepare shipping paperwork and communicate with customers to obtain Goods Release for processing
- Verify shipping documents, customs paperwork, HS codes, invoices, packing lists, and supporting documents
- Coordinate customs documentation with the OSC team for export and import shipments
- Arrange shipment collection with customer-assigned freight forwarders
- Track inbound and outbound shipments and provide status updates to customers, sales teams, warehouse, and internal stakeholders
- Execute Post Goods Issue in SAP and attach documents to enable invoicing
- Prepare HS code summaries and coordinate inbound customs clearance
- Physically review inbound shipments and post Goods Receipt in SAP
- Maintain shipment records and audit trails in SAP and shared systems
- Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct inventory checks, and coordinate storage location updates
- Track excess and obsolete inventory and collaborate with sales on storage adjustments or write-off processes
- Resolve shipment, documentation, customs, and system issues
- Identify process gaps and suggest continuous improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma or Bachelor's in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Good understanding of international trade and customs regulations
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics coordination and warehouse operations
- Hands-on experience with SAP processes
- Experience with international shipping documentation, including import, export, delivery notes, goods receipt, and goods issue activities
- Experience within the UAE logistics environment, preferably with Jebel Ali Free Zone import/export and customs clearance processes
- SAP MM / SD process knowledge or relevant SAP certification
- Import/export documentation or customs clearance training
- Incoterms training or certification
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office tools
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams, customers, warehouse, sales, and freight forwarders
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to provide clear and timely shipment updates
- Ability to manage urgent shipment priorities
- Strong problem-solving mindset to support timely resolution of shipment, documentation, and coordination issues
