About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Receive, verify, and inspect materials, equipment, and components, issuing inspection and non-conformance reports when applicable
  • Verify compliance with purchase orders, invoices, and technical specifications
  • Control material receipts and withdrawals within ERP systems
  • Maintain accurate physical and system inventory records
  • Perform preservation activities for materials and equipment in storage
  • Conduct periodic inventory counts
  • Open packaging and verify received materials and items to be loaded
  • Perform pre-loading verification against material lists and documentation requirements
  • Load materials and equipment onto vessels and trucks according to material lists and issue activity reports
  • Perform cargo handling during receiving, storage, and loading using forklifts, cranes, and trucks
  • Complete operational-control and Safety and Quality Management System documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical degree completed in Mechanical, Electrical, Electrotechnical, Industrial Automation, Logistics, Business Administration, or Information Technology
  • Training/Certification in Cargo Handling Operations
  • Skills: 5S
  • Skills: Material Logistics Process Management
  • Skills: Handling and Moving Loads and Use of Slings
