About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform pipe stress analysis and design of subsea production system equipment and structures
  • Provide engineering support for locally executed projects and global TechnipFMC offices
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership in design, analysis, and verification
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements
  • Develop optimized, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for subsea applications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project delivery and technical excellence
  • Participate in preparation of manhour estimates, document registers, schedules, and estimates
  • Review contract requirements and client documents
  • Prepare deliverables lists and piping specifications, SP item data sheets, valve data sheets, piping wall thickness calculations, PMS, P&IDs, plot plans, and GA drawings
  • Prepare and check stress analysis reports in Triflex/Autopipe
  • Prepare nozzle loads and pipe support loads and coordinate with mechanical and structural teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Proficiency in piping analysis programs such as Autopipe and Triflex
  • Knowledge of international offshore piping standards and design codes, including ASME B31.8, ASME B31.3, DNVGL-RP-F112, and NORSOK Standards
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience analyzing offshore or subsea equipment in the oil & gas industry
  • Detailed knowledge of layout, piping materials, and piping systems in the offshore oil and gas industry
  • Proficiency in Vortex Induced Vibration analysis and operational fatigue life assessments
  • Knowledge of collapse pressure and pipe buckling checks according to DNV ST F101
  • Knowledge of CAD systems such as Inventor, Pro/E, or Unigraphics
  • Ability to independently create functional and cost-effective designs meeting complex specification requirements
  • Ability and initiative to communicate, gather information, and make sound engineering decisions
  • Ability to work independently and interface with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment
