About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Performs assembly and tests of mechanical/hydraulic assemblies of low complexity
  • Assembles and tests assemblies according to specifications
  • Completes required test documentation, including test reports, failed test reports and NCRs
  • Cleans components after assembly according to specifications and instructions
  • Uses material handling equipment to move parts, components and sub-assemblies
  • Collects and inputs information in specific systems for cost tracking
  • Performs all duties safely and keeps employees aware of dangers in the work area
  • Assists more experienced Assembly Technicians as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma
  • Up to 2 years of experience in field
  • Proficiency to read drawings and technical documentation in assembly
  • Knowledge/use of complex equipment and techniques (e.g. FAT, Gas testing, etc.)
