About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design solution architectures, technical designs, engineering solutions, software architectures, and database designs
Design integration approaches and solutions to achieve robust, secure interoperability
Implement solutions on large projects
Work with IBM Maximo Asset Management across asset lifecycle functions including inventory, contracts, purchasing, resources, work management, preventive maintenance, and security
Apply data, security, resilient systems design, integration, and application development expertise
Collaborate with clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand needs and prioritize outcomes
Research, formulate approaches from problem statements, solve complex problems, and adapt to new situations
Create structure in ambiguity and prioritize business objectives
Distill complex information into clear written communications, including memos and slides

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant post-secondary education in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 8 years of related and progressive experience
Architecture experience in solutions design, technical design, engineering, software architecture design, database design, and EAM (IBM Maximo) platforms
Proven ability to design integration approaches and solutions for robust, secure interoperability
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with IBM Maximo Asset Management
Experience with asset lifecycle areas including inventory, contracts, purchasing, resources, work management, preventive maintenance, and security
Experience implementing solutions on large projects
Solid understanding of data, security, resilient systems design, integration, and application development
Solid experience with architectural and asset management technologies/frameworks
IBM Certified Maximo Advanced Deployment Professional – Asset Management
Background check required
Eligibility to work in Canada
