About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define, implement, and lead the company’s legal strategy in alignment with its business objectives and growth plans
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), and other legislation relevant to the banking technology sector
Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts with clients, partners, and suppliers, including M&A transactions and startup investments
Provide strategic legal support for the development, launch, and operation of new solutions and products
Manage and protect the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, patents, and software
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks, proposing proactive solutions to prevent liabilities
Serve as legal counsel to all company departments on corporate, labor, tax, consumer, and other legal matters
Manage interactions with external law firms and regulatory agencies
Participate in strategic committees and provide legal input on corporate decisions
Analyze, draft, and review contracts, legal opinions, documents, and other legal instruments
Monitor judicial and administrative proceedings and support negotiations and legal matters of varying complexity

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience using the NetLex platform is a mandatory requirement
Bachelor’s degree
Postgraduate degree
MBA
Senior-level legal analysis experience is expected based on the position’s seniority, although no minimum number of years is specified
