About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated tests for web, mobile, and API applications
- Execute and review automated and manual tests, ensuring software coverage and reliability
- Analyze requirements and user stories, defining comprehensive, high-value test scenarios for the business
- Lead defect investigations and root cause analyses, collaborating with the development team on effective solutions
- Create, review, and maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation strategies
- Actively participate in and contribute to Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Planning, Review, and Retrospective)
- Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, automation, and QA practices
- Mentor and support junior- and mid-level QA professionals by sharing knowledge and best practices
- Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and automation techniques, proposing innovations that increase efficiency and quality
- Ensure the quality, performance, security, and scalability of applications
- Collaborate with Development, Product, and QA teams to define testing strategies, automation coverage, results analysis, and failure resolution
- Lead automation initiatives and projects, define quality strategies and best practices, resolve complex issues, and serve as a technical reference
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree completed
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience with functional and automated testing
- Experience with web applications and APIs
- Previous experience in financial-sector companies (banks, fintechs, or payment institutions) is a plus
