About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the internal operations of engineering teams alongside a Team Lead
- Keep projects running on time, on budget, and on scope
- Track project schedules and milestones
- Maintain project documentation
- Coordinate across discipline engineers
- Support invoicing and fee tracking
- Flag scope and schedule risks to the Team Lead
- Keep teams organized across multiple concurrent engagements
- At more senior levels, take greater ownership of project operations
- Support multiple Team Leads simultaneously
- Contribute to process improvements
- Help develop junior project managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in project coordination or project management, ideally in a professional services, AEC, or technology consulting environment
- Strong organizational and administrative skills across multiple concurrent projects
- Financial and resource management experience, including tracking budgets, profitability, billing, invoicing, and resource forecasting
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
- Comfort working closely with technical teams and understanding how engineering projects are structured and delivered
- Process-oriented and proactive approach
- Degree in business, project management, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred
