About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical support for Cisco Catalyst 9300 and 9500 network equipment
Handle and document incidents affecting network switches
Diagnose first- and second-level incidents
Verify and restore equipment operation
Coordinate support requests with Cisco
Follow up on service cases under Cisco Smart Net Total Care
Track the replacement of defective hardware, as needed
Verify that equipment is functioning properly following service interventions
Keep equipment inventory and coverage records up to date
Collaborate with networking teams and various technical stakeholders
Prepare intervention reports and document the solutions implemented
Contribute to the availability and continuity of network services
Apply the mandate’s security and intervention procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hold training in computer science, networking, or equivalent experience
Have experience supporting and maintaining Cisco network equipment
Have strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 9300 and 9500 switches
Be proficient in LAN, VLAN, Ethernet, and troubleshooting methods
Be able to diagnose failures and connectivity issues
Have knowledge of manufacturer support services, including Cisco Smart Net Total Care
Follow up on incidents with support teams
Be able to prepare technical documentation and communicate in French
Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification is an asset
