About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate telecommunications engineering work packages within station projects
  • Track the implementation of work packages
  • Create and maintain a cross-project overview of work packages, schedules, deliverables, open items, and decisions
  • Manage actions, schedules, risks, and deviations
  • Prepare escalations and decision papers for the Telecommunications Engineering Sub-Project Manager
  • Identify and document deviations from deliverables, schedules, and baselines, and track their resolution
  • Coordinate the flow of information between station projects, project partners, specialist planners, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Organize and moderate regular coordination meetings with the Telecommunications Engineering Sub-Project Manager and internal and external project stakeholders
  • Prepare for and follow up on coordination meetings
  • Create and maintain status reports, action lists, meeting minutes, management overviews, and other project-related documentation
  • Continuously improve project control, reporting, and communication processes within the telecommunications engineering project environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable discipline, or an equivalent qualification
  • At least three years of professional experience managing infrastructure projects in the energy sector
  • At least three years of experience in project management for large-scale projects, multi-project management, or a comparable project control function
  • At least three years of experience coordinating and managing parallel work packages with complex technical and organizational interfaces
  • At least one year of experience in schedule planning, schedule tracking, and action management
  • German at native-speaker level (C2)
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
  • Basic knowledge of the planning and implementation of telecommunications systems or transmission technology is desirable
  • Experience in the energy sector, particularly in transmission networks, substations, or grid infrastructure, is preferred
  • Experience in infrastructure, plant engineering and construction, grid, or industrial projects involving multiple technical disciplines is desirable
  • Experience preparing management reports and decision-making materials for project management teams
  • IPMA Level D or C certification, or a comparable project management qualification, is desirable
