  • Collaborate with product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to optimize designs for production and customer requirements
  • Provide stakeholders with regular updates on project status and technical challenges
  • Drive innovation in mechanical design through new materials, technologies, and processes
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement mechanical design and engineering best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12 to 15 years of experience in mechanical designing with SolidWorks
  • BE / B. Tech / M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Advanced CAD tools proficiency, including SolidWorks and Creo
  • Knowledge of telecom equipment mechanical design, including enclosures, heat sinks, racks, and cable management solutions
  • Knowledge of design validation and verification processes
  • Compliance knowledge of industry standards including NEBS: GR-63-CORE, GR-487-CORE, ETSI, and TSEC
  • Ability to collaborate with product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams
  • Ability to manage timelines, resources, and budgets
  • Ability to oversee prototyping with suppliers and in-house teams
  • Knowledge of mechanical design materials, technologies, processes, and best practices
