About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design data architectures and build reliable pipelines
- Build and improve scalable data pipelines, data products and analytics solutions using efficient ETL/ELT processes
- Make data AI-ready through robust architectures, feature engineering and high-quality datasets for analytics and machine learning
- Help develop AI-powered solutions, including generative AI, agentic AI and intelligent automation
- Maintain data quality, reliability, observability, performance and security
- Apply software engineering, CI/CD and MLOps practices
- Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners and business stakeholders
- Mentor colleagues and share knowledge
- Shape data, analytics and AI capabilities across Telia Infrastructure
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years in data engineering, backend development or platform engineering
- Experience building and operating scalable data solutions, pipelines, data products and analytics platforms
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Modern software development skills
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of modern data architectures and cloud-native development
- Experience in AI, machine learning or advanced analytics
- Understanding of how data platforms enable AI and automation
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English
