About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape the Professional Services Portfolio by identifying gaps and opportunities and prioritizing new offerings aligned with corporate strategy and product roadmaps
  • Design, draft, and update consulting service offerings, enablement content, educational material, and technical presentations
  • Lead development of complex and strategic net-new offerings
  • Maintain technical, content, and lab quality standards across the portfolio
  • Stay informed about Tenable product changes and plan portfolio updates ahead of product releases
  • Advise the Senior Director, Services Portfolio, on offering strategy, resourcing, and delivery risk
  • Review user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity
  • Create collateral and evaluate offerings and content for accuracy and relevance
  • Deliver pre-production training sessions and gather early feedback
  • Create live demonstration recordings for the Tenable product suite
  • Perform content reviews with Services, Technical Support, Customer Success, and Product Management; act as final technical approver for release
  • Periodically teach customer classes or deliver service engagements
  • Collaborate with Professional Services peers, customers, and partners to analyze requirements, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Provide solutions to difficult problems and support data-driven decisions
  • Act as final escalation point for portfolio-content escalations
  • Independently manage assigned projects and oversee team-member project delivery on schedule and budget
  • Mentor and develop Associate Services Architects
  • Drive adoption of educational frameworks, content-development approaches, and technologies that reduce cost or development timelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of overall experience in Information Security
  • 1+ years of experience in vulnerability management and broader cybersecurity operations, ideally utilizing enterprise assessment tools such as the Tenable product suite
  • 3+ years of professional services, technical support, or sales engineering experience
  • Proven experience designing and delivering technical curricula, training, and customer enablement programs, as well as leading others to do so
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and TCP/IP networking
  • Working knowledge of web application security, container security, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and ICS/SCADA systems, with in-depth expertise in at least one
  • Familiarity with security assessment tools such as Nessus, Kali Linux, and Metasploit
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior internal and customer audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders, including at a senior level
  • Strong initiative and ability to work remotely in a self-directed manner and as part of a geographically distributed team
