About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate mill planning, programming, and dispatch activities
  • Plan mill load in compliance with delivery terms
  • Verify plant capacity and determine loads for different production centers
  • Plan the need for external suppliers
  • Issue roadmaps, load work orders, and estimate rolling of semi-manufactured products
  • Control stock and minimize furnace transitory conditions and internal product transfers to reduce transport energy costs
  • Oversee order-processing procedures and synchronize them with client requirements
  • Develop integrated order-entry capability and ensure real-time order tracking
  • Implement collaborative planning, forecasting, and stock replenishment
  • Optimize production allocation and load balance
  • Assess and minimize demand variation impacts on capacity, productivity, and inventory
  • Ensure appropriate material storage and due care
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, management standards, laws, and regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or a related industrial environment
  • University degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail while adhering to established procedures and standards
  • Knowledge of manufacturing products, production processes, scheduling, and operational workflows
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across multiple Supply Chain functions
  • Experience with SAP is an asset
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build working relationships with Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, and cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented approach with a customer service mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and adapt to changing business needs
  • Ability to work 8-hour days with flexibility based on business needs
  • Work performed in a steel manufacturing mill
