About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and conduct in-person visits to specialist physician offices and EMS providers throughout the defined market service area
  • Evaluate physician referral patterns and trends for market service lines
  • Develop business development strategies with operational and medical leaders
  • Research assigned providers and understand hospital-selection decision-making
  • Conduct face-to-face sales meetings with clients
  • Conduct follow-up meetings with physicians and practice managers to understand needs and growth obstacles
  • Communicate client feedback and partner with market/hospital resources to resolve issues
  • Prepare and present sales reports identifying trends, lessons learned, opportunities, and improvement areas
  • Modify and execute business development tactics based on client and facility-leader feedback
  • Maintain current knowledge of the health system, hospital, and provider landscape
  • Document client engagement daily in the defined CRM tool
  • Support network-development initiatives directed by the Group Vice President and/or CSO
  • Perform duties according to high ethical standards and company policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 5 years of experience in a field related to health system physician relations, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices
  • Exhibited success in a marketing/sales role
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel in market
  • Motor Vehicle Records check will be conducted on the selected candidate
