About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of physician recruiters
  • Oversee sourcing, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and professional development
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies for hospital-based physician specialties, including Hospital Medicine, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Critical Care, and Pathology
  • Partner with hospital leadership, market executives, and physician leaders to develop targeted recruitment plans
  • Monitor recruitment pipelines, candidate activity, sourcing effectiveness, placement metrics, and service-level expectations
  • Report on recruitment activity, open searches, market trends, and key performance indicators
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding and start date
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Compliance, Credentialing, Legal, and Operations on physician recruitment and onboarding
  • Implement innovative sourcing strategies, recruitment technologies, and best practices
  • Maintain recruitment data integrity in Salesforce and other recruitment systems
  • Monitor market trends, compensation competitiveness, specialty workforce challenges, and industry best practices
  • Support annual planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for physician recruitment initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulations, and ethical recruitment standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of physician recruitment experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or team management experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of physician recruitment processes, sourcing methodologies, workforce planning, and physician employment models
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment technologies, including Salesforce or similar CRM/applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge of physician recruitment industry trends, laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational, project management, analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • CPRP certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Minimal travel may be required
  • Motor Vehicle Records check required for the selected candidate
