About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and conduct in-person visits to proceduralist physician offices to increase selection of centers
  • Evaluate physician referral patterns and trends for market facilities' service lines
  • Develop business development strategies for target markets and services with business development and operational leaders
  • Research assigned providers and their facility-selection decisions and relationships with ASCs and hospitals
  • Conduct face-to-face sales meetings explaining center attributes, specialty capabilities, processes, patient experience, and safety outcomes
  • Conduct follow-up meetings with physicians and practice managers to understand needs and growth obstacles
  • Communicate client feedback and partner with facility resources on physician credentialing, onboarding, and issue resolution
  • Prepare and present sales reports measuring case volume growth, trends, lessons learned, opportunities, and improvement areas
  • Modify and execute business development tactics based on provider and facility leader feedback
  • Maintain current knowledge of the hospital, ambulatory surgery, and provider landscape
  • Document client engagement and follow-up in the CRM tool daily
  • Support service-line expansion, extended hours, case cancellation recapture, and related initiatives
  • Perform duties according to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in a field related to health system physician relations, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices
  • Exhibited success in a business development / sales role
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel in market
  • Motor Vehicle Records check for the selected candidate
