About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and conduct in-person visits focused on proceduralist physician offices
  • Increase selection of USPI centers for procedures and grow potential case volumes
  • Evaluate physician referral patterns, trends, and market dynamics
  • Develop business development strategies with business development and operational leaders
  • Research providers and their facility-selection decision-making
  • Conduct face-to-face sales meetings explaining center attributes, specialty capabilities, processes, patient experience, and safety outcomes
  • Conduct follow-up meetings with physicians and practice managers to understand needs and growth obstacles
  • Communicate client feedback and partner with facility resources on physician credentialing and onboarding
  • Resolve provider issues to increase practice at USPI centers
  • Prepare and present sales reports measuring case volume growth, trends, opportunities, and improvements
  • Modify and execute business development tactics based on provider and facility-leader feedback
  • Maintain knowledge of the hospital, ambulatory surgery, and provider landscape
  • Document client engagement daily in the defined CRM tool
  • Support service-line expansion, extended hours, case cancellation recapture, and related initiatives
  • Perform duties in accordance with ethical standards and company policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 5 years of experience in a field related to health system physician relations, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices
  • Exhibited success in a business development / sales role
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel in market
  • Motor Vehicle Records check will be conducted on the selected candidate
