About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver coaching lessons targeted for skill development, social interaction and personal achievement
Deliver fun, engaging tennis lessons for players of all ages and abilities
Assist in Tennis Hot Shots, Junior Development, Cardio Tennis and holiday programs
Provide outstanding customer service to players, parents and members
Support senior coaches with lesson preparation, on-court activities and player progression
Contribute to a positive team culture while maintaining professionalism, safety and presentation
Encourage students to engage in Cardio Tennis, competitions and tournaments
Progress students through the coaching program and celebrate achievement at each stage

Requirements

What you’ll need

Tennis Australia Community Coaching Course qualification (or willing to obtain)
Previous experience coaching across all ages and skill level
Good understanding of Tennis products and brands, in particular Racquets and string specifications
A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
Resume and cover letter submitted via the online application system
Commitment to understanding responsibility in relation to child-safety when delivering tennis in Australia
