About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the technical bridge between Tenstorrent and customers across Southeast Asia
Work with customers, partners, sales, and global engineering teams to understand AI and machine learning workloads
Guide technical evaluations and deployments
Troubleshoot issues across hardware and software
Help customers realize the performance of Tenstorrent’s AI platforms
Build regional customer relationships
Architect and deploy AI/ML solutions across customer use cases, including Generative AI and LLM applications
Lead the customer engagement lifecycle from pre-sales technical discovery and demonstrations through proof-of-concept delivery and production deployment
Collaborate with product development, engineering, research, sales, and business development teams
Help establish regional service capabilities and support growth of a Tenstorrent office in Southeast Asia
Travel regularly throughout Southeast Asia for customer-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Customer-focused technical professional able to build trust with application developers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders
Ability to translate complex AI/ML hardware and software concepts into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences
Proactive and self-directed problem-solving ability
Ability to coordinate internal teams, external service providers, and customer stakeholders across Southeast Asia
Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites for installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept delivery
5+ years of working experience with hardware and software technology around AI
Experience as a Field Application Engineer, Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role focused on AI/ML software and hardware
Strong Python programming skills
Deep familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, vision models, model deployment, training, or fine-tuning preferred
Experience designing scalable AI solutions and deploying applications in cloud environments
Experience physically installing, moving, and repairing servers, accelerator cards, and PCIe devices
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with C++, CUDA, parallel programming, or kernel development is a plus
English, Mandarin, and Malay language proficiency listed as a plus
Employment contingent upon eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology; citizenship/permanent residency or prior license approval may be required
