About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Run the Closure, RMA and Warranty services function of the Project Delivery team
  • Own closeout and the multi-year warranty period for deployed SCADA and controls projects
  • Maintain project closure plans, action logs, milestone dates, dependencies, and acceptance requirements
  • Collect, organize, and quality-check closeout documentation
  • Track outstanding technical, commercial, and documentation items and escalate overdue or blocked actions
  • Prepare meeting notes, status updates, customer correspondence, and internal follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate project, ERP, inventory, and document-management records
  • Coordinate knowledge-transfer meetings and handoff of open service items, equipment, and records
  • Prepare closure dashboards and reports
  • Log and coordinate RMA and warranty requests, assignments, aging, due dates, and case records
  • Apply RMA and warranty processes, document exceptions, and recommend workflow refinements
  • Coordinate communications with customers, vendors, suppliers, and service providers
  • Maintain spares records and coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations
  • Validate financial data supporting warranty and spares budgets, forecasts, reserves, and cost allocations
  • Coordinate failure reviews, audits, and follow-up actions with Quality, Product, and Engineering
  • Compile failures, reliability issues, field data, and operator feedback for responsible teams
  • Maintain dashboards and metrics on case aging, turnaround time, resolution rate, costs, inventory, recurring issues, and customer outcomes
  • Identify risks and escalate missing information, overdue actions, cost concerns, and customer-impacting issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a project or operations manager in the solar or renewable energy industry, heavy construction, or aerospace industry
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, including managing competing priorities, dependencies, budgets, and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with project-management, enterprise resource planning, inventory, reporting, and document-management tools
  • Analytical skills and experience using operational and financial data
  • Demonstrated leadership, including setting priorities, resolving conflicts, holding owners accountable, and driving cross-functional results
  • Adaptability and resilience when managing technical issues, customer escalations, and uncertainty
  • Experience with SCADA, industrial controls, grid controls, telemetry, meteorological stations, or related electrical and automation systems
  • Utility-scale solar or renewable-energy project experience
  • Experience managing RMA, warranty, field-service, spares, or installed-base support programs
  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or comparable project or program management certification
  • Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred
