About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the regional Application Engineering team provides technical support and sales enablement to distributors, systems integrators, channel systems integrators, and end-users
Provide robotic application support and consultation to partners and end-users
Develop distributors' and end-users' technical knowledge and abilities regarding Universal Robots and applications
Support Service 360 activities and case management according to global service processes
Exchange knowledge with and invigorate the global Application Engineering community
Drive regional processes while aligning with the global technical team on processes, tools, training materials, application development, and trade shows
Directly lead more than 10 employees across multiple countries and/or high-complexity languages and cultures
Own performance management, including goal setting, feedback, coaching, career discussions, and performance appraisals
Create pre-sales and technical KPIs to drive growth and improve customer partnerships
Partner with CDMs and/or Sales Engineers to meet customer needs
Facilitate hiring, onboarding, work assignment, delegation, guidance, training, and coaching
Interact with C-suite executives from distributors, partners, and key customers
Ensure team members follow process standards and drive continuous improvement
Support pre-sales, customer visits, cobot deployment, trade shows, and customer/partner training

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred
+10 years successful track record of technical support in the robotics industry
Solid technical knowledge and skills of robotics and automation, including multiple applications
Documented success over multiple years in pre-sales support, post-sales support and training
Experience supporting structured sales, plans, budgets, and pipeline management
+3 years experience managing people on site and/or on the distance
Experience managing complex client relationships
Strong oral communication skills, including the ability to de-escalate sensitive situations
Business acumen applicable in interactions with all levels of the company
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
