About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply reliability engineering methods throughout product development and production ramp-up
  • Develop and execute accelerated life-test plans for robotics and automation systems
  • Perform life testing for durability and repeatability
  • Identify design changes that improve service life of electromechanical mechanisms exposed to repetitive motion and operating stresses
  • Analyze test and field data to identify reliability risks and failure mechanisms
  • Conduct Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT)
  • Lead or contribute to DFMEA and Design for Reliability activities
  • Build reliability models and make recommendations to improve product life and system availability
  • Partner with mechanical, electrical, systems, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BSEE, BSME, or equivalent degree
  • Reliability engineering experience with electrical and electromechanical assemblies
  • Proficiency with statistical and reliability software tools, such as Weibull++, BlockSim, Alta, and Ansys Sherlock
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and training skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%
  • Must be local to North Reading, Massachusetts; relocation is not provided
  • Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
