About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, monitor, and control domestic pickups and deliveries, from dispatch through confirmation of delivery to customers.
- Manage carriers, overseeing hiring, negotiation, development, and ongoing performance evaluation processes.
- Monitor transportation KPIs (OTIF, OTD, lead time, cost per delivery, damage, returns, and redeliveries), proposing and tracking action plans.
- Conduct logistics cost analyses, freight audits, and invoice validation, ensuring contractual compliance and financial efficiency.
- Develop operational improvements through route and volume analysis, load consolidation, process optimization, and the use of data to support decision-making.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in domestic road transportation, outbound logistics, or carrier management, preferably in an industrial environment or B2B operations.
- Knowledge of freight negotiation, tariff composition, contracts, SLAs, logistics KPIs, and freight auditing.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP; knowledge of TMS, preferably Active OnSupply.
- Analytical, hands-on profile with strong negotiation skills, a sense of ownership, results orientation, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Intermediate English is a plus.
