About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze virtual currency transactions using state-of-the-art blockchain analytics tools
- Trace transaction histories, identify patterns, and uncover illicit activities within blockchain networks
- Serve as the primary point of contact for law enforcement agencies
- Provide detailed reports and insights on blockchain activities to support criminal investigations
- Respond to and action incoming law enforcement requests
- Gather relevant data, conduct thorough analyses, and deliver timely, accurate information
- Enhance law enforcement understanding of illicit-activity patterns and indicators on the blockchain
- Monitor developments in blockchain technology, virtual currency trends, and regulatory changes
- Improve analytical methods and tools using current industry knowledge
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, cybersecurity, and management stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Criminal, Business Management, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience with blockchain analytics, preferably Chainalysis, TRM Labs or Elliptic
- Deep and proven understanding of cryptocurrency transaction patterns and potential indicators of criminal activity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into understandable terms for law enforcement personnel
- Experience working with law enforcement agencies is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent English communication skills
