Implement UI/UX using React and the Pear runtime
Optimize application performance, including rendering and memory management
Test and debug complex frontend applications
Build and maintain robust decentralized communication functionality
Contribute to the future of peer-to-peer and decentralized communication

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience with React/Preact and modern JavaScript/TypeScript in production-scale applications
Strong competency in state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar
Ability to write modular, maintainable, and well-tested code
Solid skills in testing and debugging complex frontend applications
Deep interest or experience with P2P technologies or distributed systems
Comfort working in a remote, globally distributed team
Good communication skills
Experience with desktop application development using Electron, Tauri, or similar runtimes preferred
Familiarity with video/audio APIs, including WebRTC and media streams, preferred
Demonstrated ability to optimize UI performance, including rendering and memory management, preferred
Experience building cross-platform applications for macOS, Windows, Linux, or similar platforms preferred
Contributions to open-source software projects, especially in P2P or decentralized technology, are a bonus
Excellent English communication skills
