About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Track engine work across sprints and releases, keeping issues, milestones, and roadmaps current
- Run or support stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across time zones, mostly asynchronously
- Coordinate between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA so dependencies are visible early
- Write clear status updates, release notes, and meeting summaries
- Help triage bug reports and user feedback and route them to the appropriate engineers
- Identify risks and blockers early and help the team resolve them
- Maintain internal documentation and processes so they remain tidy and easy to follow
- Support the Keet engine team working on peer connections, data replication, room synchronization, calls, and file transfers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar role; internships and open-source involvement count
- Excellent written English communication; ability to explain technical progress clearly and concisely
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable working with engineers and learning technical concepts quickly
- Experience with issue trackers and project tools such as GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, or Linear
- Self-starter who thrives in a fully remote, async-first team
- Preferred: basic understanding of networking or distributed systems concepts, including P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, and replication
- Preferred: familiarity with software development lifecycles, Git, and release processes
- Preferred: exposure to JavaScript/Node.js or experience working alongside a development team
- Preferred: interest in privacy, decentralization, or open-source software
- Preferred: Agile/Scrum knowledge or a certification such as PSM or CAPM
- Preferred: experience working across many time zones
