Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain the P2P stack
Expand Tether’s ecosystem, including over 1,500 public npm modules and a robust, modular codebase
Build products and solutions contributing to Tether’s global digital finance, blockchain, peer-to-peer technology, and data-sharing ecosystem

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in Node.js development with production-scale applications
Strong competency in writing modular, maintainable code
Experience creating and managing reusable npm modules
Solid skillset in testing & debugging
Deep interest or experience with P2P technologies or distributed systems
Comfort working in a remote, globally distributed team
Good communication skills
Preferred: Experience with native Node.js extensions (C/C++), or binding JS to lower-level code
Preferred: Demonstrated ability to optimize network protocols or systems, including latency and throughput
Preferred: Familiarity with advanced networking concepts
Preferred: Past contributions to OSS projects, especially in P2P or decentralized tech
