About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, organize, direct, and manage day-to-day evaluation program activities
- Manage evaluations and processes for pre-clerkship, clerkship, and elective courses
- Schedule, lead, and present dashboards for course evaluation meetings
- Manage Program Evaluation and Assessment Subcommittee meetings, agendas, and minutes
- Assist with evaluation and assessment guidelines
- Manage course report dashboards from data collection through distribution, quality control, feedback, and action-plan updates
- Monitor curriculum implementation data, evaluation completion, and compliance rates
- Adjust and troubleshoot evaluation software
- Monitor, generate, and distribute evaluation reports and grade summary forms
- Assist with NVIVO coding of qualitative comments
- Compile program statistics and respond to department email
- Resolve department ticketing-system requests
- Assist with virtual feedback and focus groups
- Support strategic plans, goals, and timelines
- Assign work to student workers as needed
- Serve as liaison to academic coordinators and medicine stakeholders
- Schedule and conduct evaluation software training, coordinator retreats, presentations, and student orientation
- Develop evaluation training materials, handbooks, and presentations
- Coordinate OEA staff, Course Directors, and Academic Affairs personnel
- Maintain office calendars, program records, and databases
- Provide data for research and submit conference abstracts/proposals
- Manage evaluation content on internal and external websites
- Review and proofread evaluation reports and documents
- Document OEA products, process changes, and curricular changes
- Update evaluation-question distribution mapped to medical education objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of medical school and higher education work experience working with faculty, staff and students; project coordination, project management, evaluation experience, and survey building and distribution
- Conducting training and teaching K-12 experience could also be considered
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
- All positions are security-sensitive; applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation and credential verification
