About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in training specialty skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within TEEX Workforce Development Programs
- Deliver online and/or classroom instruction
- Provide field-based skills training and/or technical assistance in a specialty area
- Use adult learning theories and learning styles to maximize learner success and course effectiveness
- Use a variety of media to present course material
- Assist in creating or updating curriculum content as needed
- Work with the Leadership team and ITSI customers to deliver and develop TEEX Leadership courses
- Report to the Training Manager - ITSI Special Projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Four years of experience in a key leadership role, including applicable experience instructing leadership training
- One year of adult education and/or training
- Must reside in Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Cameron, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, or Willacy County
- Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Alternatively, two years of related experience with an Associate's Degree in an applicable field, or no prior experience with a Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field, from an accredited college or university
- Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation
- Employment is contingent upon verification of credentials and/or other required information
