About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently build and grow the assigned business or market by developing and driving a Treasury Management strategy
  • Establish strong Line of Business engagement and accelerate business development
  • Manage portfolio growth objectives, Treasury Management revenue, deposits, and assigned Commercial Card, Merchant Card, and F/X sales targets
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce activity input and proactively course-correct financial performance gaps
  • Develop annual strategies and business plans for supported LOBs or markets, including SWOT analysis and deposit and fee growth opportunities
  • Partner with LOB Heads, Group Managers, Relationship Managers, Product, Sales, TSA, RA, and Onboarding teams
  • Conduct regular one-to-ones, activity reviews, client planning, pipeline meetings, networking events, and client/prospect engagements
  • Spend at least 85% of time in front of clients and prospects initiating strategic conversations
  • Own the end-to-end client experience from deal development through onboarding and service handoff
  • Manage Treasury Management fee portfolios, identify trends and revenue gaps, maintain at-risk client lists, and support revenue realization
  • Execute bank initiatives, including pricing or rate events, and assess credit exits and service or portfolio impacts
  • Leverage internal partners, delegate appropriate tasks, execute Treasury Management initiatives, and drive timely follow-up

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; Master’s preferred
  • Minimum of seven years’ bank treasury management or other financial sales/consultant experience
  • Excellent relationship management skills across internal cross-functional departments, senior leadership, vendors, and clients
  • Proven negotiation and active listening skills
  • Strong oral presentation and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • For a TMO supporting a specific LOB: 7–10 years minimum serving as an industry corporate practitioner or calling in the industry
  • Remains highly networked within the industry and regularly attends relevant associations and events
  • Stays abreast of industry-specific technology and understands how clients leverage it
  • Can confidently conduct CFO-through-technology-level conversations specific to the industry
