About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships within the business to manage all third parties through regular performance reviews, goal-setting discussions, and expectation alignment sessions
  • Analyze vendor performance metrics, platform reliability, and contractual compliance using data-driven methods
  • Conduct periodic assessments and reviews to ensure adherence to established agreements
  • Assist in negotiating vendor contracts, including licensing, pricing structures, implementation timelines, and service level agreements
  • Ensure contract terms align with company policies and data security standards
  • Monitor third-party technology and risk to ensure successful delivery against contractual obligations
  • Implement remediation strategies for compliance gaps or performance deficiencies
  • Serve as a customer-focused point of contact for vendor-related complaints, platform outages, delivery delays, and contractual disputes
  • Develop solutions that maintain positive relationships while protecting Firm interests
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and value optimization opportunities across the vendor portfolio
  • Maintain awareness of emerging fintech solutions and competitive alternatives
  • Partner with technology, legal, finance, and operations teams to support digital transformation goals and maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Evaluate vendor performance data and market trends
  • Develop technology sourcing strategies aligned with corporate innovation goals and provide portfolio optimization recommendations
  • Identify complex vendor-related challenges and implement data-driven solutions
  • Provide proactive recommendations to enhance vendor capabilities and service delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Banking or financial services industry experience
  • 10+ years of IT vendor and relationship management experience, Strategic Sourcing and technology operations
  • Vendor lifecycle management experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cost optimization initiatives with measurable results
  • Highly analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Experience with third-party risk management frameworks, data security, and compliance frameworks
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a track record of building strong stakeholder relationships
  • Self-driven, results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide clear guidance and mentor
  • CPSM or Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Master's degree preferred
