About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices
  • Handle contract administration and maintain project documentation
  • Prepare and submit bank draw packages
  • Manage insurance reporting requirements
  • Process weekly hourly payroll
  • Perform job costing and cost tracking for multiple custom home projects
  • Manage lien waivers and subcontractor compliance documentation

  • Prepare annual 1099s
  • Support approximately 12 active luxury residential projects simultaneously
  • Utilize QuickBooks for accounting and project tracking
  • Assist with the transition to more integrated construction accounting software
  • Support banking, bookkeeping, and reporting process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of construction accounting experience
  • Experience working for a General Contractor is REQUIRED
  • Strong job costing and project cost tracking experience
  • Experience managing lien waivers and subcontractor documentation
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Experience with real estate or construction accounting software in addition to QuickBooks is a plus
  • Experience with subcontractor agreements, W-9s, and 1099 preparation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Local candidates only
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
  • No C2C arrangements or third-party submissions
