About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate and proofread documents for a variety of clients
- Create and finalize translated deliverables before submission to clients
- Work under the guidance of a manager and collaborate with Project Managers
- Translate from English into Vietnamese for Life Sciences materials
- Support international clients' translation needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Translate from English into Vietnamese in the Life Science sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese
- Specialization in Life Science fields, such as Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Technical, Clinical Patient-facing, or Clinical Outcome Assessment
- Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
- Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement
- Applicants must complete Translation, MTPE, and/or Proofreading/QM tests
- A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree including significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; or
- 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; or
- 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or
- A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
- Latest CV must include relevant Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM experience and proposed per-word rates in USD
