About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate documents from English into Vietnamese
- Proofread documents pertaining to a variety of clients
- Create and finalize end products before delivery to clients
- Collaborate with Project Managers under the guidance of a manager
- Provide translation services for Legal and Insurance sectors
- Complete Translation, MTPE, and/or Proofreading/QM tests to evaluate skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese
- Specialized in Legal fields
- Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
- Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement
- Applicants must complete free Translation, MTPE, and/or Proofreading/QM tests
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree including significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; OR
- 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; OR
- 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; OR
- Certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
- Relevant translation, MTPE, and proofreading/QM experience
- Ability to translate from English into Vietnamese
- Legal and/or Insurance translation experience
