About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage stakeholders on data sources and ACT reporting content, quality, and frequency
  • Align reporting content and cycles with ACT and MJET delivery execution plans
  • Track performance against delivery plans
  • Align reporting content and production cycles with governance committee mandates and calendars
  • Establish data collation, analysis, and report compilation systems with implementing agencies
  • Establish appropriate digital tools for efficient and accurate data and report collation
  • Establish and maintain the ACT reporting repository
  • Ensure quality control over ACT reporting
  • Prepare accurate and timely ACT reports for governance committees
  • Provide data to the JET PMU Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team and Communications team
  • Contribute data, reports, and analysis to annual ACT Progress Reports published on the JET website
  • Work within a mandate delegated by the Manager: ACT Governance and collaborate with the ACT Programme Manager and Programme Manager: MJET

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience in data collation, analytics, and reporting
  • Master’s degree in Data Analytics or a related field
  • Strong data management and analytics skills
  • Ability to collate data of varying quality from a wide range of sources and analyse programme performance trends and gaps
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and explain data to readers with differing backgrounds
  • Rigorous attention to detail, accuracy, and scheduling across reporting cycles
  • Ability to engage confidently with multiple stakeholders across external organisations
  • Practical problem-solving ability, including assessing delivery bottlenecks and finding solutions
  • Digital systems capability for data collation, analytics, reporting, and record-keeping
  • Legal right to work in South Africa
