About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support USSTRATCOM mission objectives involving strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services
  • Provide 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments
  • Perform cyber forensics, intrusion detection, threat analysis, incident response, and vulnerability assessments
  • Design secure architectures for enterprise systems, applications, and cloud platforms
  • Implement and support system/network security, cryptography, firewalls, identity management, and secure architectures
  • Develop secure code and automation using Java, C++, and Python
  • Apply DevSecOps practices, cloud security, virtualization, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Use security and vulnerability management tools including Splunk, Nessus, Wireshark, Nmap, and cloud security suites

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering, information assurance, or security architecture experience
  • Current/active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI status
  • ITIL Foundations v4 Certificate or the ability to obtain within 9 months
  • Experience with cyber forensics, intrusion detection, threat analysis, incident response, and vulnerability assessment
  • Strong background in system/network security, encryption algorithms, cryptography, identity management, and secure architectures
  • Proficiency with Splunk, Nessus, Wireshark, Nmap, AWS/Azure/GCP security suites, and vulnerability management platforms
  • Knowledge of secure programming in Java, C++, and Python, and automation for security workflows
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, virtualized environments, cloud security frameworks, infrastructure-as-code, and Terraform
  • Experience designing secure architectures for enterprise systems, applications, and cloud platforms
  • Strong communication, documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Preferred: CISSP, GIAC, CEH, or equivalent advanced cybersecurity credentials
