About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to drive successful delivery of strategic priorities across Operations, Claims and Risk Management
  • Lead and coordinate strategic projects and operational initiatives on behalf of the Managing Director
  • Manage priorities, actions and business plans to deliver key objectives
  • Prepare reports, presentations, briefings and materials for leadership meetings and governance forums
  • Build relationships with senior leaders, colleagues and external partners
  • Manage and filter communications, handling key information effectively and confidentially
  • Drive projects from conception through implementation, overcoming challenges and delivering results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach and ability to work independently
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and project management capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business reporting tools
  • Insurance sector experience is advantageous, but not essential
  • Relevant employment, address, credit history and standard criminal record checks prior to commencing employment
