About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage, retain and develop a diverse portfolio of clients through face-to-face sales and account management
- Deliver multiple services with expertise in technology and pensions
- Manage relationships across General Insurance and International (WBN) networks
- Drive growth within the existing client portfolio
- Collaborate with internal departments to deliver tailored solutions for people and business risks
- Take ownership of or become involved with prospective field-based clients to expand opportunities
- Provide guidance on pricing methodology using industry expertise
- Negotiate with providers to secure client-aligned terms
- Respond to complex tender proposals with well-structured solutions
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the new business pipeline
- Support management in training and developing colleagues
- Act as a key problem-solving resource for team challenges and complexities
- Develop personal objectives collaboratively with the line manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have CII GR1 and IF7
- At least Pension Management Institute Diploma / Diploma / L2 / L3 L4 qualification(s)
- Full, clean driving licence
- Advanced understanding of employee benefits and their operation
- Expert experience in a broking or advisory environment
- Highly experienced in managing and maintaining a portfolio of clients
- Advanced presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised and able to respond well under pressure and meet deadlines
