Requirements

What you’ll need

  • Fluency in scientific principles and superior ability to assess the quality of scientific research
  • Exceptional writing skills and magazine sensibilities
  • Abundance of story ideas, eagerness to pitch, and hunger to weigh in on major topics and news events
  • Ability to balance reporting on pressing news with landmark longer-term projects
  • Must be able to work nights, early mornings, and weekends at times
  • Successful completion of reference checks
