About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead process discovery and diagnosis, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Map and model current-state (AS IS) and future-state (TO BE) processes using BPMN 2.0 and Bizagi
- Propose process simplification, standardization, optimization, and redesign
- Identify opportunities for digitization, automation, and the application of artificial intelligence in collaboration with technical specialists
- Develop quantitative and qualitative analyses to support improvement proposals
- Structure KPIs, metrics, and baselines to measure efficiency and outcomes
- Assess benefits related to reductions in costs, execution times, rework, and risks
- Align improvement initiatives with strategic objectives and OKRs
- Prepare cost-benefit analyses, impact estimates, and prioritization recommendations
- Plan and facilitate meetings, interviews, and workshops
- Engage stakeholders to develop diagnoses and align proposals
- Track action plans, owners, deadlines, decisions, and deliverables
- Support the management of risks, impediments, and dependencies across teams and departments
- Participate in planning and tracking ceremonies in Agile environments
- Support the implementation of redesigned processes and the transition to new operating models
- Identify organizational impacts and support communication, training, and engagement
- Monitor adoption of new processes and identify adjustments and improvements
- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- Practical experience in diagnosing, mapping, modeling, and redesigning business processes
- Knowledge of BPMN and familiarity with process modeling tools
- Ability to identify opportunities for process optimization, digitization, and automation
- Experience developing and tracking performance indicators and analyzing results
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, KPI development, and benefits measurement
- Experience conducting interviews, meetings, and workshops with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure analyses and recommendations
- Experience in research, technological development, and innovation (R&D&I) environments is preferred
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma is preferred
- Experience with Bizagi is preferred
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence and process automation is preferred
- Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe is preferred
- Knowledge of Prosci/ADKAR is preferred
- Experience developing business cases and conducting return-on-investment analyses is preferred
- Familiarity with KPIs and OKRs is preferred
- Preferred qualifications: experience in organizational transformation or consulting
- Preferred qualifications: experience in energy, oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, or infrastructure
- Preferred qualifications: experience in large organizations or environments with complex processes and multiple stakeholders
- Preferred qualifications: participation in digital transformation, automation, or the implementation of new operating models
