About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain client relationships as the primary point of contact
  • Assess client needs and develop tailored commercial insurance coverage solutions
  • Lead renewal processes, including coverage analysis, benchmarking, loss experience, exposure analysis, and program design alternatives
  • Manage onboarding, renewals, policy issuance, compliance updates, and policy documentation
  • Ensure insurance programs comply with federal and state regulations
  • Liaise with carriers and vendors to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, solicit proposals, and manage policy activity
  • Oversee new client onboarding and C-suite engagement
  • Collaborate with Client Success Specialists, advisors, carriers, and internal teams
  • Develop client-facing coverage summaries and client risk reports
  • Coordinate or conduct renewal meetings
  • Improve processes, tools, and workflows and escalate issues to leadership
  • Support renewal planning, service coordination, milestone tracking, client questions, submission components, document checks, exposure validation, workflow planning, billing questions, endorsement inquiries, and audit-related discrepancies under general supervision

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong industry knowledge of commercial insurance programs, preferably in a brokerage firm
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Commitment to exceptional client service
  • Proficiency with Agency Management Systems (e.g., Applied Epic), Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, AI-enabled tools, and digital workflow platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, finance, or a related field
  • Current state Property & Casualty license required
  • 2–4+ years of commercial insurance and account management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Foundational understanding of commercial insurance processes, coverage structures, exposure analysis, and renewal workflows
  • Experience coordinating with offshore teams or third-party partners preferred
