  • Works closely with advisors, line-of-business specialists, and dedicated client servicing professionals to analyze client data and evaluate needs
  • Helps create effective risk management solutions designed to meet clients’ financial goals
  • Prepares premium allocations
  • Prepares and updates draft renewal proposals
  • Prepares documents for presenting risks to market
  • Prepares applications, summaries of insurance, and other coverage-related documents
  • Assists client service teams with presentation materials
  • Analyzes and summarizes complex data and compiles reports without supervision
  • Records data in insurance company and firm software programs
  • Processes complex audits and completes audit worksheets
  • Reviews contract requirements for complex certificate requests
  • Reviews quotes in depth
  • Quotes flood and builders’ risk policies as requested by an Account Manager
  • Handles process-based quoting for assigned books, including NFIP, bonds, and small builders’ risk
  • Renews bonds and flood policies
  • Identifies and follows up on binding subjectivities
  • Trains and mentors other Analysts
  • Completes special projects as assigned
  • Identifies opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes
  • Brings issues and discrepancies to appropriate leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years’ experience in the insurance industry required; 3+ years’ experience preferred
  • Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm functions, or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Demonstrates the organization’s core values and behavior aligned with the firm’s culture
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn other appropriate programs or software systems used by the firm
  • Fast-paced multi-tasking environment
