About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of video editors and motion graphics professionals
- Assign projects, manage workloads, and establish production priorities
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career growth
- Exercise hiring and separation authority in partnership with Human Resources
- Oversee concept development, pre-production, production, post-production, and final delivery
- Provide creative direction for storytelling, cinematography, editing, motion graphics, and production quality
- Supervise on-location and studio productions, coordinating logistics, crew, and equipment
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and business leaders on creative strategies and content plans
- Manage production schedules, timelines, budgets, vendors, freelance resources, and equipment needs
- Manage equipment, studio resources, software licenses, workflows, and asset management systems
- Oversee media storage, file organization, backups, and archiving
- Evaluate and implement new production technologies, editing techniques, and AI-powered tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in film, video production, communications, marketing, or a related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5–7 years of professional experience in video production and post-production required
- 2 or more years of experience leading or managing a creative production team required
- Experience managing production budgets, vendor relationships, and multi-project schedules required
- Strong knowledge of cinematography, lighting, audio production, color correction, and motion graphics
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other professional video editing and motion graphics software
- Strong project management skills, including management of concurrent productions, budgets, and schedules
- Knowledge of emerging production technologies, editing techniques, and AI-powered tools
- Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs occasionally and up to 15 lbs frequently
- Ability to stand/walk intermittently, including extended periods during productions and shoots
- Ability to sit for extended periods, up to 6–8 hours per day
- Some travel required
