About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a key technical expert and trusted advisor in the design, development, and implementation of ETL solutions across enterprise projects
Ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance through robust architecture, standards, and best practices
Provide subject matter expertise in ETL design and development throughout the project lifecycle
Analyze business requirements and translate them into ETL architecture, workflows, and data transformation rules
Create ETL mapping, design, and product support documents
Review and validate design specifications and code deliverables for standards compliance
Lead data analysis and metadata management initiatives
Define and enforce ETL standards, processes, and best practices
Develop and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes within parallel processing frameworks
Write and maintain advanced SQL scripts for data manipulation and validation
Schedule ETL jobs using ESP, including testing and production deployment
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and methodologies for ETL deployments
Perform application test planning, execution, and defect resolution
Execute source-to-target data mapping and conversions to multiple output formats
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ETL solutions with enterprise systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in any field and 5 years of experience; a 3- or 4-year degree accepted
Experience in the healthcare domain
Experience developing ETL solutions using IBM DataStage
Experience with master data management using Reltio
Experience with Apache Kafka, Amazon S3, IBM DataStage Designer, Kafka Topic, APIs, JSON, and XML
Experience writing complex SQL queries to develop and test ETL requirements
Experience using relational databases for source and target migration, including Teradata, Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server
Experience using CA WA Workstation to create, manage, and schedule ESPs
Experience with Teradata Studio, Toad for Oracle, Toad for IBM DB2, Postman, WinSCP, Putty, UltraEdit, and NotePad++
Internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload for home working
