About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide customer coaching and support focused on stress, anxiety, depression and other challenges
- Perform stress, anxiety and depression screenings
- Identify customer health education needs through targeted health assessment activities
- Refer customers to Cigna Evernorth clinical programs or client-specific programs as clinically appropriate
- Establish health improvement plans and personalized evidence-based goals with customers
- Support customers in achieving health goals and overcoming barriers to better health
- Lead and support group coaching, wellness challenges and health-related seminars
- Use biometric values and motivational interviewing techniques to improve clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with matrix partners to support the aligned client’s health and wellness strategy
- Own clinical targets and outcome measurements
- Develop action plans that drive clinical value for customers and clients
- Perform additional responsibilities within the scope of certification or licensure
- Support training or mentorship of new employees as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- RN required with active, unrestricted license in respective state, with ability to maintain
- Compact license or additional state licenses may be required, with ability to maintain
- Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED Certification
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in health coaching, health education and health promotion
- High-speed internet and quiet office space in a dedicated home office
- High energy level, with dynamic presentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Customer-centric focus
- Ability to proactively collaborate professionally with the client and other matrix partners
- Proven administrative abilities, with strong computer and software application skills
- Ability to work early or later hours depending on customer needs
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Compact (multi-state) RN license ideal; licensure in New York ideal
- Behavioral Health experience, including stress reduction, is a bonus
- Chronic Disease Management experience is a bonus
- NBHWC certification is a bonus
- Motivational interview training/experience is a bonus
