Key responsibilities & impact

Establish comprehensive UAT and business integration testing strategies, including scope, objectives, methodologies, timelines, resources, and acceptance criteria
Translate business requirements into end-to-end testing scenarios and test cases
Lead UAT, integration, regression, release, and operational readiness testing across internal systems, vendors, and external partner platforms
Direct testing resources and coordinate test-effort estimation, prioritization, contingency planning, test-data setup, and execution
Evaluate testing outcomes and advise business leaders, Product Owners, technology teams, and vendors on solution quality and operational readiness
Define automation strategies and identify opportunities to automate rate, benefit, and repeatable testing activities
Lead the design, development, implementation, execution, maintenance, and enhancement of automated UAT scripts and tools
Validate automated testing results, investigate exceptions, and manage issue resolution
Lead annual Individual Dental renewal communications testing and quality validation
Coordinate renewal testing with business, technology, operations, and print-vendor partners
Conduct onsite audits at print-vendor locations
Establish defect-management practices, analyze root causes and impacts, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans
Report testing progress, defect trends, risks, and readiness status to stakeholders and leadership
Lead testing for annual Go-to-Market and Open Enrollment readiness
Assess completion, unresolved defects, dependencies, risks, and preparedness for implementation
Serve as a senior subject-matter expert and trusted advisor across testing, automation, communications quality, and operational readiness
Coach testing resources and improve testing processes, documentation, productivity, quality, and customer experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Eight or more years of experience in healthcare operations, business integration testing, user acceptance testing, quality assurance, technology delivery, or a related discipline preferred
Significant experience developing and leading UAT strategies for complex, cross-functional business initiatives
Experience with Individual and Family Plans, Individual Dental, annual Go-to-Market, Open Enrollment, or renewal-related activities strongly preferred
Experience identifying testing automation opportunities and leading automated testing solutions
Experience with automated testing tools, scripting, data validation, and testing across multiple systems or external partner platforms preferred
Strong knowledge of UAT, integration, regression, release, end-to-end, and automated testing practices
Experience leading testing resources and coordinating activities across business, technology, vendor, and offshore or distributed teams
Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, effort estimates, and contingency plans
Strong knowledge of defect management, root-cause analysis, risk assessment, impact analysis, and corrective-action validation
Experience testing and validating customer communications or other high-volume, customer-facing materials preferred
Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives, establish priorities, and deliver results against critical business timelines
Strong analytical capabilities, sound judgment, and ability to translate complex testing findings into clear business recommendations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Jira, Rally, Application Lifecycle Management, Quality Center, or comparable platforms preferred
Knowledge of Selenium, Java, Python, XML, SQL, or comparable automation technologies preferred
If working at home, internet connection must use cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
