About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as primary point of contact for a designated book of business and provide service excellence for clients and broker partners
- Handle day-to-day service needs, proactively identify issues, resolve problems and perform root cause analysis
- Coordinate with managers and account managers to meet client needs and avert potential problems
- Attend geographically assigned local market client/broker meetings
- Complete Client Account Support tasks independently and resolve non-routine issues escalated from junior team members
- Build client and broker relationships and identify customer needs
- Make on-site presentations to existing and prospective clients regarding products and client retention
- Apply knowledge of processes, compliance, regulatory requirements, products, benefits, platforms and funding types
- Support the Client Service Operations Lead team by resolving issues or delegating to matrix business partners
- Collaborate with Sales to understand products, benefits and services for sold cases
- Identify risks, diagnose problems, perform root cause analysis, develop proactive solutions and participate in project execution
- Provide subject matter expertise to cross-functional teams and business partners
- Communicate effectively and maintain accuracy under tight time constraints
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor/Associate’s degree in a related field preferred or at least 3-5 years of related experience
- Active Texas Life & Health License or obtain after date of hire
- Previous sales operations, service, sales support skills and working knowledge/experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional customer centric skills and knowledge in all product and funding types strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail; ability to quickly understand clients’ needs and expectations
- Proven strong analytical and problem solving skills strongly preferred
- Organized and experienced in meeting tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written)
- Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce is required
- Prior experience working with matrix partners and external customers is preferred
- Ability to attend client/broker events locally with potential to travel
- Internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload when working from home
